I was busy doing my work

enjoying it, making no foul

सूनी  ये  राते  है ,दिल  में  कुछ  बातें   है

मनवा  क्यूँ   डोले  है ,खाये  हिचकोले  है

कोयलियाँ  कही  कूकें  जो ,हिवडे  में  यादे  फूंके  वो

ली  मन  ने  जो  अंगड़ाई  ,फिर  महकन  लागी पुरवाई 

बिन  बादल  जो  चुप  सा  था ,आज मोर  वो  फिर  से   नाचा  है

ये  जादू  है  उन  बूंदों  का ,जो  बारिश  पहले  गिरती  है

कभी  मैंने   ऐसा  सोचा  ना ,बड़ी  प्यारी   अपनी    कहानी  बनी 
 सुनके  मौसम  भी   मस्ताना  हुआ ,कि आज  हवा  भी  उसकी   दीवानी  बनी 

अब  दरिया  चाहता  बस  एक  पुल  है

दो  किनारे  जो  मिलने  को  व्याकुल  है

Jab kali koi muskaati hai,ek shore sunai deta hai

ek tees jigar me uthti hai,use pyaar dikhaai deta hai

Jalwa us shokh jawaani ka,kuchh khatta hai kuchh meetha hai

na milna usse mumkin hai, wo kuchh sachha hai-kuchh jhootha hai

Sabka apna afasana , sabki apni manjil hai

sab khud se hi hai anjaane, yun duniya kitni mushkil hai
